Nice build Drew. Those tires are slick and fit the truck perfect.

Great build! I agree with Larry that the wheels/tires are a good fit for the truck. I've got one of those VTS kits tucked away to be converted to a 4x4, someday.........

Willy hit the nail on the head...like the truck was meant to look that way. Nice work.

Great build! The option of the Cummins engine is something I be thinking about. What tires do you use? Your a really good scratch builder!

Thanks for the nice comments. HJ, I used the desert tires from LOSI. losi.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=50_Desert They are soft rubber, and come glued onto some nice metal wheels. The only problem was mounting the wheels to the axles. The Losis are for micro R/C cars, and are designed to mount with screws. The hub areas are fairly clunky and difficult to modify. I wound up getting the tires off the rims, and using the baja wheels from the GMC plow truck. I just super glued the tires to the bead of the rims, and they fit pretty well. I ordered them from Amazon, and it was like $8 or something for the set.
