My new project, the Flazer, which is based on a couple of mud trucks I remember from high school, and will be a Ford powered b LAZER... Flazer. So far... It's set up on a scratchbuilt frame, and has Dana axles which were modified from a pair of '70 Dodge Super Bee kits. Wheels and tires are from the Monogram Mudder K5, and that Ford mill is from a Vantom kit. Still need to dig out a T-case, but that's the gist for now.

I'm really against the Ford in a Chevy thing... but that being said, it looks really cool!

Other than the fact that now the side trim is gone, none to speak of. I really need to get this one back on the front burner!

The 1:1 Flazer was Allis Chalmers Orange.... ... I thought of painting this Farmall Red, since I always have that color on hand... ... then I toyed with Ford Blue, just to rub salt in the wound. But... I finally decided to blast it with a can of cheap pink spray paint. This is actually the second pink paint job this body has worn. The first time, well, let's just say something bad happened...

Modified a generic '60's style stock car rollcage for the cab, and butchered the dash to fit, meaning the interior is about 99% done at this point. I think my next hurdle will be figuring out how to route the exhaust, then the body can be mounted permanently to the chassis.

Routed the air filter into the cab... And got the engine room mostly sorted out.
