Hi Guys I am a brazilian modeler and new in the car modeling universe. I´d like to build the 1979 Ford Bronco as seen in the 240 Robert TV show. I am using the 1/24 Monogram ´80 Ford Bronco 2 ´n 1 model kit but the tires and wheels are not accurate. Could you please tell me where to get the correct set? Many thanks in advance Mauro

Welcome Malito, I vaguely remember that show. I'm probably blocking it since my wife swoons when she sees Mark Harmon. LOL
Having had a 1979 Bronco in real life, I would tell you that the body styles on the '79 and '80 Broncos are completely different. The hood on the '79 wraps down to the beltline and the '80 hood is "flat". There was a 79 rereleased by Model King a few years ago, but I don't know what the availability would be for you.
That said, Monogram or AMT did have a release that had the wagon wheels as seen on the 79 Sheriff's Bronco. I had built an 80 for a friend to replicate his 1:1 scale and that is what he had on his and was in the kit I used. Sorry that I don't remember which kit it was though. I'm sure someone on here will comment further.
Please post progress pictures.
