Cant wait to see this built Me too! That's why I had to do a quick assembly of this first casting. The prep for primer/paint is going slowly & since this is the first "good" body out of the mold, there's a few more flaws than I was hoping for...takes time to correct. The seats, door panels, rear bumper, flares, and hardtop/bulkhead were practically perfect with little to no prep involved. Anyway, here it is thrown together...keep in mind a few things are misaligned a bit as it's not really glued together.

Wow! Turned out great! Even an old Ford man like myself might just want to build one of these. Not sure if you ever said how much you think they will cost (need to start saving) John

Thanks John! Not quite sure yet on the cost, but ORM members will get a discount for sure I'd love to see what some of you pro builders here like yourself & others can do with this Scrambler...lots of possibilites! This first one of mine is going to be Hugger orange with black top/interior...

Still haven't had time to "remaster" the master LOL, but here's something that'll make the Scrambler more accurate for the replica-stock builders... Here's the rare ESCI kit I got ahold of: It's a curbside (molded closed hood with no engine detail) but some things are more accurate than the Revell CJ-7 kit, some aren't... Another type of door panels that can be used on the Scrambler. If there's interest, I can have them cast... Wish I had known about the highback buckets in this kit before I spent all of the time making my own! Here's the best part, these will be cast and available...accurate rims/centercaps! Hope to get the master revamped soon & back to the caster...

When I started building serious models i wanted to find a 4x4 of some sort. All I had ever seen in the stores were hot rods/muscle cars. I attended a swap meet and found a Jeep in a bag, and what was left of the instructions/decals were heavily water damaged. It ended up being that very same ESCI Jeep, and i have since bought several more as I do prefer it over the Revell-ogram kit Sorry for the rambling, but it brought back some memories. Can't wait to see the new CJ8 master.
