Hey hunter...very cool project. The mock-ups are killer pics. I remember kynan and his builds. He was good but he disappeared rather abruptly. I've e-mailed him, but no replies. Too bad.
P.S. I got a few sets of those same tires.

Yes this kit is the older "Phillipines Taxi" kit from ESCI Italy. Bid ED do you want to sell some of those shocks you do a great job building? ?

Big Ed, I am going to give it a shot. Do you put the top "stop" where you want the truck height to sit or do you adjust the spring???

Hunter, the stop was glued in and the springs were cut as I built them to fit the truck. I hope you weren't mislead, but they are not working shocks. I'm sure they could have been, but mine are not. I guess you could put the stop anywhere depending on the shock body.
