Guys, I figured that you were the best guys to come to. I am working on a conversion kit to change the 79 Ford Pick Up's wheel base. With the AMT kit (Lastest Model Kit) being the rare Camper Wheelbase. I was thinking about coming out with a stock wheel base Frame and Bed kit in resin. I was also thinking of doing the bed in pieces like the plastic kit. Or do you guys like the bed assembled? I was also thinking about doing the 4x4 parts in resin. Any use for that? I will also be coming out, later with all of the grills for that body style. Later I might do a 4 door crew cab. But that is way down the line if I do that. That is it for Ford Trucks for me. I know not Fords. But I was thinking about just popping the 70s Dodge long bed and chassis plate. Any thoughts there? Thanks for all of your input. Matt

Yes please do the more normal looking bed/wheelbase configuration of the seventies Ford!!! As far as the bed, do whatever is easier & more economical for you, either way would be fine with me ;D The 4x4 parts probably aren't necessary since most of us here kitbash anyway. But see what others have to say... Have you checked out this guy's Ford stuff? I think he has some other stuff in the works also as he told me when I got the wheels from him, I'd hate to see you do the same stuff : www.offroadmodels.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=how&action=display&thread=112And yes also on the LWB Dodge! I've been trying to score a cheap LRE for just this sort of build!

I am dropping the Ford stuff. I do not like to do something that another caster is doing. Maybe Later I will make that stuff if it is needed in the industry. I have so many item ideas and future project to put my time into. No need to put it into things that are already being covered. That is why I am dropping the Dodge truck stuff I have been doing for years. Modelhaus picked up on it. So I am moving into other things. You guys got any ideas. Throw them out there. I am always listening for new ideas. Matt

Id go for an early Bronco! I used to have a 69 that I was building, until I had to sell it to help pay for the move to WY. I would love to build kit to match what I had

I have been trying to find a way to come up with an early Bronco for a master. Only thing is one of those old toys and those are hard to come by. I have not been able to get my hands on anything. If I had a good master there would be resin ones produced. I cannot just make this stuff out of thin air. So if any of you have any ideas on how I can come up with a Bronco for a master. You let me know. I will do it. Thanks guys.
