Thanks Jeff. I'm keepin' the body matte beige. After the fiasco with my original color (remember the white paint job?), I figured I would keep it simple and flat. Still don't know why the white paint did what it did. I will post tomorrow with more detailed pics.

when i got on I saw that this post was updated today and I was hoping there was some progress. When I opened it up I wasnt disapointed. This was well worth the wait and I cant wait to see the outdoor pics tomorrow. Did you make the decal on the bed or have someone make it. I am wanting to try and make me some off road shop decals for my van.

Thanks Josh, very much. Joe at www.diecastanddecals.com/ made the decals for me. I sent him what I wanted-different colors, fonts, etc., and he made 'em. Just gotta clear them first, but he does good work.

Ditto on what's already been posted Larry, it was well worth the wait. The Dodge looks awesome, and glad you were able to finally wrap this one up....well, 99.9999% anyways, LOL! Congrats Larry! That decal site looks interesting, think I'll have to check into them a little more.

Thanks fellas for the compliments. I did take some more pics outside (actually a LOT of pics, but I won't flood the thread) although I couldn't find a realistic setting...rocks too big, grass too tall, stream too deep, so I used a rusty piece of metal which seems to go with the truck. Hope you like. It doesn't show all that well, but I modified the '84 Ramcharger hood to fit The Dodge. Plus, I scratched the orbital valve, the oil reservoir, the battery, etc. Any questions, please ask.

Hey fellas. Just a couple better pics of the Ramcharger hood. Plus, I am making a pair of inner fenders. Could you imagine the mud in the engine bay without 'em? ??

Should the Dodge have outside mirrors? Lookin' for opinions.

Yes! Even if just small stock type.

I just can't say enough about this truck Larry...SUPER!!!
On the mirrors, I say 'yes', but not sure what type. I'm sure you don't want big 'ol three-point camper/western style on it, and little 'peep' mirrors wouldn't look right on this beasty truck either...maybe the single point door skin mount like the early-to-mid 90s Fords used???
