Hi All ;D I got my old 67-71 Jeepster kit! Borrowed this full hardtop from Carl (falcon wagon) on MCM boards (thanks buddy ) Here's what it looks like mocked up... and the convertible top & closeout panel from my kit... boot & close-out panel: These parts will fit any reissue of the MPC Jeepster/Commando, even the "bullnose" Alan @ Ma's resin will be reproducing the full hardtop for sure, and if there's enough demand, the convertible parts also. Maybe the front clip too, if I get brave & cut off the fenders from this body!

Jeff, I think you already know which one I want/voted for! Any idea when this will be available?

Not sure on a time Roger, Alan's been REALLY busy with his "daytime" business, so it's hard to say... Watch this space for updates

I'm new here, so I don't know how much weight my vote has, but since every body casting I've seen is from the high-option Jeepster convertible (none of the lower-optioned models had the chrome strip over the cowl and along the side as a feature line), it makes sense to build a convertible top and closeout panel. Of course, though roadsters were available, AMC '72-'73 Commandos never had the convertible option. It might be a cool build though. A C-101 front clip would expand options, even for CJ-5/7/8 builds. Does anyone have any interest in the continental spare kit too? However, that is probably easier to scratchbuild than any of the other items. Just kind of thinking out loud here...my vote is YES!

The "new guys" votes mean just as much as anyone else's! I too think the 67-71 front clip would be a valuable addition...I guess I'll cut mine apart & send the fenders, grille, and hood to Alan also. And kifaru, if you want the continental parts, I'll send you mine!

They're yours buddy! I think it's the two piece shell, the curved bumper, and whichever wheel insert you want to use that make up the assembly...do you want the Jeep hubcap, or the simulated "mag" wheel for in it? I don't want anything for them. Just PM me your mailing addy & I'll get them out to you ASAP. You just have to promise to post build pics
