While struggling with my M715 project, I did this as a quick project. Started with Revell Sneaky Pete, converted to 4x4 with resin D60 axles and wheels from a toy dump truck. Converted some generic v8 to resemble a 6.2 diesel with some under hood detail. Made a troop cover from white glue and TP over a frame of brass wire. Made markings using rub-on letters and white decal paper. Posed with a little brother. Enjoy

Cool use of the Sneaky Pete. Now, how about some details on those axles?....

What you did with these is amazing! That Sneaky Pete model was re-released awhile back in the Revell Blacktop Warriors series as Alley Rat. As we all know, this series also contained a J-10 (with clear, not tinted clear parts) and a VW Bug. I have the Alley Rat kit, but what you did with it is way cooler than what I was planning on! I especially like the underhood detail and the forward tilt front clip. I was just going to experiment and see if I could kitbash the bed and make a convincing enough Honcho Sportside. Meh! A quick project, huh? You guys are good!

mdmead: The axles are brass tube with resin centers from BigJeepz resin. These are the axles and wheels for my M715 project. They are setting on the stock Sneaky Pete springs. The front doesn't have steering details yet.

kifaru: This is the Alley Rat kit. The engine started as a Pontiac, most of the details are bits of scrap. The tilt front is stock. I am in the process of turning the Pink Poison J-10 into a Full Size Cherokee. I have an old J-10 that will be the M715.

Thanks for the axle info. Very cool!
Unfortunately, it looks like BigJeepz is no more. I was hoping to find a source for the D60s for a 4x4 conversion I want to do.

The wheel donor: There was a front-end loader as well but I can't find it.
