Yeah, I dig weird forward control rigs, so the FC has a place near and dear to my heart. I really liked this concept--until I noticed the portal axles. Now, I LOVE it!! According to autoblog.com, Jeep is offering those axles right out of the MOPAR catalog...for $23,500 a set!!! Yikes! Here's the link to their take on this and the other concepts (their pics are copyright protected, so I can't post 'em here): www.autoblog.com/2012/03/27/jeep-drops-details-on-six-easter-jeep-safari-concepts/Notice the cargo area is a flatbed with drop sides along the lines of the VW Microbus pickup. Also note the JK Wrangler windshield, doors, and chassis. Who's got the skills to do this conversion? And it would have to be in diecast because I don't think there's any in styrene...

The forward cab does look really cool but I think it would be difficult to get in and out of,but that is probably just my heavier than I used to be mid-section talking.

The extra-cab and the van ideas look great! They would be perfect for overlanding--especially with a diesel! You are right, Randy. It looks like you'd need to be a gymnast or a high jumper to effect graceful ingress and egress with the thing; remember, those are 40" tires! Still, it would be worth the climb.

Hi all! Havent been here for a while but I came back to see if you knew about the Jeep Mighty FC concept. I love it and went straight to my work bench when I saw this! I work in 1:18 scale diecast and there is no model of the current Wrangler, do I'm basing my version on the previous model Wrangler. So it won't be exactly the same as the concept but I'm hoping it will still look cool! Can't remember how to post photos here from Picasa so the link to my web album is below. picasaweb.google.com/nocky88/JeepMods?authuser=0&feat=directlinkq
