Here's Ertl's 1/25 diecast 1950 Oldsmobile, given to me by my good friend Dave (thanks Dave!!!)
A disassembly, stripping, prepping, and a satin hot rod grey primer job, followed by a set of Revell '57 Chevy snap kit wheels & tires on a lowered chassis. A little detailing and reassembly, and I'm calling this one DONE!!!

1968 Chevy Impala convertible...396, 4-spd, posi rear, all original (Dad bought new!)

Sweet! Definitely not your father's Oldsmobile! The flat finish makes that classic chrome really pop (I'm almost tempted to put a 455 in my J10 just so I can justify bolting on one of those cool Olds rocket hood ornaments), and the stance is perfect. I just finished watching some Barret Jackson and getting some ideas on tasteful styling. I usually don't care for modern wheels on classic cars, but these really work! Good eye. Good photos too.
