Heya gang.. picked up this kit at a local flea market a few months back.. had it in line with the other 35 or so kits waiting to be built.. for some reason I got an itch for it and slipped it into the rotation. Got a Toyota Supra I'm also working on, but its almost done... I dug the off-road mud-bogger style so wanted to do something similar. Ordered a set of wheels and tires from Trevor.. just trying to figure out exactly how to modify the axles and driveshafts for the extreme lift... something will come to me ;D If any of you expert builders have any suggestions/ideas I could use for the axles, please feel free to share! Stay tuned...

Hey Josh, I would suggest ditching the Ford front axle assembly & using leafs on a solid axle, or even coils & links.
Anyone else???

Hey Josh. I'm gonna go with Jeff's leaf spring suggestion. Easy modification and your mock-up looks slick.

Thanks for the comments and ideas guys. I've been working on the engine lately, but really haven't put in any real time due to some certification requirements I've been having to do in class this week. The model flea market is this Saturday tho, so that should jump start me back into this project.. not to mention I'm nearly done with the Supra so I can focus on the Bronc 100%!

Sorry for the disappearing act, lads! Had to put all my builds on hold for a little while.. in the process of trying to certify in two classes at once and its quite a time consumer. And also I made a trade from a 1:1 two-wheeled bobber to a race quad, and thats been begging me to go shred some dusty, dirty, rock strewn trails. The Bronc is still sitting here looking at me in the face, and I promise to have more up soon!
