I'm working on an '01 Dodge Ram 2500 quadcab with a Cummins 5.9. I used 2 VTS kits, cut the cabs and put them together to make the quad cab. Of course the interior and frame had to be lengthened also. I scratch built a 24v 5.9 Cummins with a P pump conversion on it. I used the pump from a snap pete, the turbo from a white road boss NT cummins, and the alternator from somewhere. I made the exhaust manifold from little pieces cut from the stock headers. I really wish I had done a better job on it. I moved the rear leaf spring mounts down, and used springs from the new GMC plow truck. I used the stock rear axle, and lengthened the drive shaft. The front axle and transfer case are from the gmc. Of course chevys are backwards, so I cut the axle tubes off, and used a piece of stainless rod, so I could move the pumpkin to the driver's side. I scratch built the 4 link, which came out kind of hack-jobby, but does the job. I think the shocks and springs look kind of nice at least. I built a custom goose neck tailgate, and will be adding a ball to the bed. I scratch built the exhaust, and it will have stacks in the bed. I also added a reese hitch to the rear. I don't like the sport model bumpers, so I made a rear panel to mount the bumper from the AMT snap kit, and used the snap front end as well. This will be displayed pulling a horse trailer, so that's why the rear end seems to be squatting. I'm just waiting for some tires, which will be put on the gmc baja wheels, then I can finish up the steering system, put on the stacks, and call it done!
Here's the cummins 24v p pump conversion
I had to notch out the firewall a bit to fit the straight 6 in
added a back seat
tailgate
bodywork
awaiting tires
ready for stacks
