Got started on roughing in a lift for the front suspension. Still need to extend the kingpins and make some lift blocks for the torsion keys. Did a quick mock-up and like her new altitude. Once I finish the front, I'll move to the rear and fab up some shackles.

Looks good Tony! I like the lift on it. It sets just right. What are the wheels from? I finally got the Pathfinder far along enough to do a mockup. I would like to lift it some. But, it would be a bear to do on this kit the way the front end is set up. The tires are 31's. So, that's good enough for me. It doesn't look like it. But, I've got a lot of time just in the body scribing the panel lines and scribing lines around all of the trim around the windows. Here's a photo of my progress.

Nice work guys , I'm glad to see so much action on this board ! X3! We've got a great group of builders here at ORM. Thanks guys. Roger, those wheels are from the Model King '79 Bronco. Not 100% I'm gonna use 'em. Nice work on the Pathfinder so far, the body is looking good.

Engine looks good Darrin, I like how the tranny looks like real aluminum, did you dry brush it or something? I'm glad everyone has gotten started. Hoping for some progress over the weekend

No pics right now but a little update . I've removed the centers from the team losi rims a little sanding and the rims from an old amt nascar fit nicely inside after the lip was removed. I tried using Larry's lock out hub technique offroadmodels.proboards.com/post/40/threadbut I'll have to change it a bit because the rims are smaller . It'll look ok .I'm thinking of using the axles from the rubicon they are about the correct width for the blazer (jimmy) .

I've made very little progress on my Pathfinder. I may have to strip my interior due to paint issues. I'm also having trouble with the filled in sunroof ghosting. I got a perfect fit with my piece of styrene. But, I still put a run of superglue around the perimeter just to make sure. It's ghosted on me twice. I'm going to try a coat of future brushed before I primer the next time and see if that works. I've never had this kind of trouble before. It has to be the soft styrene the kit is molded in. That or Plasti Kote has changed their primer.
