Obviously the trailing arms and mounts are going to need work, but I just had to see how she looked set up at ride height!

Blur of activity tonight at the bench, sort of... ! Got to work on a 'long arm' lift setup for the Grand. Front got done first... still need to get the steering and Pahard bar worked out. I also need to get some rear shocks together, and scare up a track bar for the rear as well. Then I can get the engine/trans assembly (all nine whopping pieces of it) into place and get cracking on the new driveshafts....

I just might throw in that other Grand Cherokee, and maybe bring an Explorer into the mix as well...

Chuck, your Grand is looking great! I love it. I haven't had a flurry (Lol) of activity on the Exploder lately. I did add the flares and boards to the body and got it into primer. The 4.0 is roughing into shape. Will be blackwashing the trans a bit later. I did finish up both suspensions and shot some black on 'em. I"ll prolly post up some pics once I get them detailed up a little and installed onto the chassis.

Still haven't gotten the steering/suspension/driveshaft situation sorted out, but I decided to switch gears a bit and work on the engine bay and get the body painted.

Did a little more work on the ZJ tonight- made a new front bumper. I wasn't happy with the fairlead molded onto the resin winch, so I cut one from a Revell Wrangler bumper and used that instead. I also used the bar from the Revell Wrangler bumper. The fairlead is drilled for a cable for hanging the hook- I plan to add some tow hooks to the bumper and slip the hook into one of them.

Heres an update on my explorer, the tires are ground hawgs, i havent figured out what rims i will go with, it has a 3 inch lift on it. I feel bad showing it after seeing Chucks build, awesome build Chuck. I have a question, when u built that bumper, what plastic you use and what glue.

No reason at all to feel bad- I like where that Explorer is going!
The bumper is Evergreen .040" styrene sheet, and was assembled with Superglue brand CA glue.
