#1 Does anyone know of a zr2 blazer model? I know ive seen a 95 and a 96, but not the zr2 model. I was just curious because I actually have an 01 zr2 and would love making a model of it. I might just find the 95 kit and and custom build it to the zr2. The zr2 had a 2" factory suspension lift, factory skid plates and a wider frame. Also 31"s from the factory #2 Im also looking for a K series chevy truck body. Specifically 94 or 95 25/3500. I want to try to make a mud truck based off a guy on youtube. His youtube name is themudbogger 79. Truck details: 1996 green Silverado - 505 chevy stroker big block, solid lift cam, forged crank rods and pistons, cast iron heads with port work, roller rockers, 10.3 -1 compression, NV4500 5 speed transmission, 2.5 ton Rockwells, 54" Boggers, Profab trasfer case, Front leafs have 12" lift and 10" block. Rear springs have 8" lift, 15" block and shackle flip. (Taken from one of the youtube videos)- www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqi3smNnANI Also I had a 94 chevy 2500 that I was planning to make in to a bit of a mud truck but I wrecked it unfortunately. Was a great truck. Any help would be appreciated in coming up with these bodies.

Nick, there were no ZR2 specific kits from anyone, but the AMT 95 or 96 Blazer will get you a replica of your cool rig, along with flares from the 94 GMC Sonoma kit (you'll have to modify somewhat) as well as chassis mods to get the lift you'll need. Shouldn't be too difficult...
The 94-95 Silverado will (at least for the extended cab and short bed) be easy...the chassis mods/parts will have to be kitbashed or scratchbuilt, and the big block sourced from another kit. AMT/MPC made tons of these truck bodies as kits as well as promos.

I kinda figured there were no zr2 models but doesnt that seem surprising? Usually when a vehicle manufacturer comes out with a specific body type it seems like the model companies jump on it. I see LOTS of 93 c1500 chevy's on ebay lol I believe the bodies stayed the same until 95ish. But the c1500's were 2wd correct? So id have to find a transfer case from another model. Edit: I did find a 97 blazer 4x4 www.ebay.com/itm/97-Blazer-LS-4-4-1-25-AMT-/251475201957 Few years newer than the 95

The C/K bodies actually stayed the same up until 1998. After the Silverado came out for 1999, the 3/4 and 1 ton models kept using the '88 body style until 2000. I think they also sold a C/K Classic (old body style) 1500 for 1999. The grille was updated for 1995, and the interior was redone the next year- if you're looking for those parts look for the stock AMT/Ertl snap '96 Dually. The '95 Tahoe kit has the newer grille too, but that won't fit on the MPC/AMT pickup kits.

Yeah my dad has the gmc 95 1500 and I know his interior is different than my 94 was. Ill have to look again next time im over there at the two body styles. We still have the cab from my 2400 but the grill was trashed- front end accident.
