Hello, I wanted to find a forum where I could talk about modeling. I just got back into it. I was looking for a hobby. Guns is an expensive hobby as well as RC's. I am an Auto Technician in real life and I love working on vehicles and what better hobby than plastic models.

Welcome, Brandon. Did someone tell you this hobby isn't expensive?

I know it is expensive. But it is in depth. I was in rc's but I could never really get creative. My latest project is going to be difficult . I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma SR5 in real life. I want to make a smaller model. All I can find are the Hilux single cab and the double cab. So I plan to make an extra cab. I have this Dremel set that just sits here being unused and I figured I could put that to good use making an extra cab. I will definitely be taking photos. There will be add-ons. I will be getting a trailer to haul around a future Jimney rock crawler.
Does anyone know if a 1997 F-150 and a Toyota Hilux cab are the same width?

It is a Toyota and for some reason the picture makes it look like a newer Ford Ranger
