Well... this is it. The last test shot... revised hood, roof, rear axle, and all. Once the box, decals, and instructions are done, it should be on the shelves. Keep your pants on just a LITTLE bit longer! I deviated from box-stock in three areas. I used printed AMT Goodyear tires on the kit-supplied mag wheels, I wired the engine, and I replaced the tailpipe with hollow plastic tubing. Otherwise, what you see is what you get. In some of the pics, you'll notice that the wing vent post doesn't touch the top of the window opening. That's my fault, not the kit's... I broke off the tip of the post cleaning off some flash. Colors are Chrome Yellow and Pure White, in what Ford called a "combination" two-tone, where the roof and lower body sides were painted the accent color. Anyway... You can omit the wheel covers and just run the open steel wheels. I painted the scuff band on the kit tires to resemble a narrow whitewall. Here are the Ranger XLT wheel covers in place. And here are the optional five-spokes, shod in the AMT Goodyear tires. That's the wheel/tire combo which will stay on the truck permanently. I found a proper '71 Michigan plate in my spares box, and slapped it on the back.

AWESOME job building it Chuck! Great color combo! I'm glad the side trim is separate, it looks too big to me (the 1:1 trim looks too large too). The only thing that doesn't look quite right is the taillights/bezels??? Hopefully its just Chucks camera angle Can't wait for these to hit the shelves!
