I finally finished one! Sorry, NOT offroad...
I built this one quickly (over a two week span, or about 25 total hours, give or take...)
AMT/MPC 1932 Chevy. Tried to get it done for a local show that had a Rat Rod theme, but didn't quite make it, so I just finished it. This car is going thru an identity crisis...is it a Rat, or a driver work in progress? Not sure, but I think it turned out pretty cool looking.
Phantom Vickie chassis, rear tires, and cooling fan. Revell '62 Impala 409 and 4-speed, with Rat Roaster blower/carbs/velocity stacks/air cleaners, etc. Aluminum rear wheel sleeves, frame spreader bar, and steering column. Parts box wheel centers. Cut down frameless windshield. Monogram '57 Corvette steering wheel. Hypodermic needle tall shifter. Trans tunnel made from cut-down aircraft aux tank. '61 Impala taillights. Beretta Pro Street headers. MAD distributor. Everything else came from the '32 Chevy kit, some parts modified, some out of the box as-is. Weathered/worn Duplicolor primer body, Model Master "Green Go" lacquer accents.
Let me know what you think...

Thanks guys, was nice to get something finished! Yes Darrin, I agree...I've got a '32 Chrysler in the queue to be done up as a street rod as well AND a '33 Chevy pickup being built from the Barnabas van thingy...

That's a cool little hot rod Jeff! I can't help but think of what it would look like with a nice paint job though. It makes me want one even worse now!

Thanks Roger! Yeah, I'll put a shiny paint job on one of the other '32-33 Chevy's...I'm working on a pickup built from the Barnabas van, and I just scored an elusive '33 panel builder kit from eBay for $27.62 shipped!

Thanks Tony. Just received that '32-33 panel in the mail, and had to get a look at the body on this chassis Sure wish AMT would revert the Barnabas van tooling back to stock!!!
