That is just too cool. The weathering and overall detail is spot on.

nice build give me idea's now does any one cast a non truck 4 or 6 cylinder diesel motor here I've been looking for a few of those myself, and have found absolutely zilch so far. There is a kit of an Austin London Taxi which has a diesel four banger, but it's very oversimplified. Plenty of big-rig and industrial diesels, of course, but slim to nil in the way of passenger car & light truck stuff. (I'd have used a diesel engine in THIS model, had I been able to find one.) I'm thinking of scratching up a Nissan 1-6 Diesel like they used in the Scout II, and maybe lending it out to a resin caster for a master if there's any interest, but that project is probably quite a ways off.

I get asked on a few other forums if I know of any diesel motors being made all the time. I know that I would use a fare few in my builds. As the diesel are becoming more popular in the real world they will become more wanted in scale. You have to do the Nissan Diesel as My next big build will be the early 80's Nissan Patrol and that had the same motor in it as the scout did It would look cool with a diesel in it. I have used the 6 cylinder diesel motor out of the old AMT John Deer tractor kit in a couple of builds like the Dodge L-700 tow truck that I'm working on but it still is too big to use in a 4X4 model but OK for a light to medium size truck
