Looks like this is my 100th post... might as well make it count, huh? This is my latest project- based on R&R's (formerly SJS) '38 IH cab over. I'm doing a kind of street-rod styled build on this one, and here's the progress so far. After prepping the body (it's rough as most R&R castings these days are, but it cleans up pretty well), I shot it with some School Bus Yellow. After that, I painted the midsection in Tomato red, foiled the grille and IH logo over it, and added some headlamp bezels from a '51 Chevy kit. Once I'd done that, I turned my efforts to the sparse interior. I made up some 'tuck and roll' style door panels to go over the flat, featureless kit tub's panels. I also made up a glovebox door and a new column drop for the slab-like kit dash- I also dug out the leftover hubcaps from my Motor City Resin Casters Metro kit, foiled the 'Triple Diamond' logos (no- they aren't Batman logos!), and sprayed them in school bus yellow. Not sure if they'll make the final cut just yet. And here's a really bad photo of the completed interior! I scratchbuilt a steering column and shifter, added felt 'carpet' to the floor, threw in a spares box steering wheel, window cranks and door handles, and gauge panel (AMT '57 Chevy I think), and used the same Tomato Red I used on the cab. Next up? I've still got to figure out a chassis, a bed, and all the other stupid little things. Should be fun! ;D Or not!

Right now, I'm just waiting for the humidity to drop a bit before I spray more clear. Ah, ya gotta love Michigan's psychotic weather patterns!
