This past weekend I thought I would try my hand at scratchbuilding a bench seat for an '81 F150 project. I learned a lot on this one and my next one should be a lot better. The main lesson I learned was to take my time on the next one and not rush it. It still needs a little work done to it before painting, but I thought it turned out pretty good for my first try. Let me know what you guys think. Here's a couple before I primered it. I brushed on a coat of future to keep the primer from attacking the seams and it worked very well. Here's a couple after primering. Still some small holes to fill and some minor sanding to do. I need to remove the crooked piece of piping and put it back on straight. Good thing it's only going to be a shelf model!

To me, you did a killer job for a "first time". I'm impressed Roger.
