Good stuff so far Tony! Have always wondered about these, does it scale out to 1/25 scale or is it a bit smallish, say 1/27??? Looks fairly accurate... Will be waiting anxiously for more buddy! ;D

Thanks Jeff and Willie. It does seem a little on the small side, 1/27 sounds like a good guess. It's too bad that this is the only kit of a TJ to work with. It would be sweet if Revell would turn this into a full on styrene kit. Re-tool the simplified suspension/axles and make em better, cut open the hood and have the 4.0L sitting under it, and I think it would make for a pretty darn good kit.

Hey Tony. Great work on Lara's Jeep so far. The black wheels make a world of difference. Look forward to the end result.

Like how this is coming along the black wheels make it look better and the fender flares being black will be cool. i almost got this kit once but did not because 1 it was small and 2 it was not plastic.
Hey Revell you listening it needs to be 1/24 or 1/25 plastic I could see several diffrent builds of it. maybe a V8 or V10
Keep up the goof work and post more when you have it.

Thanks again guys. Got a couple new pics to share. The interior is finished up other than the roll cage. Nothing standout about it, just a little bit of white on the buttons/knobs. Doesn't really show up well in the picture. Picked out the bolts on the beadlocks ...and the rolling chassis.

Thanks gray07. Tonight I came up with an idea for mounting a cb overhead. I cut a strip of Evergreen and mocked it into the rollcage. I'm a little hung on the fence yet. What do you guy's think, does it go well with the rest of the cage, or should I try something else. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions. Picture with the cb.

Personally, I think that would work. Ideally, I'd like to see it a bit thicker. Probably not twice as thick though, more like increased 50%. But again, it would work just like you mocked it up too.

Looking at it, I think you're right Matt. Gonna beef it up a little.

Hey Tony. Just a thought, but I think a double tube (round, of course) in place of the strip would look good.

Double tube is the way most people build them in 1:1.

Thanks for the input guys, it's appreciated. You got me to change my mind. I mocked in some round tubing and like the look a lot better. I'll try to get a pic up sometime soon.

It's looking good! I love that kit! Revell needs to do that in plastic as a 2N1 kit! That would be cool!
