Here's one I'm trying to finish up for the 3 upcoming somewhat "local" model shows...all within the next month, first one is this Saturday Not sure if I'll get her done, paintbooth #1 (outside) isn't working out too well with all of the rain, but we'll see... Revell '64 Chevy with Mercedes Unimog axles, SoReal IROKS with modified old MPC Dodge 8-lug rims. Using Tamiya military flat dark green, which obviously doesn't photogragh well indoors, hopefully will be better outdoors (when it quits raining : .

Hey Jeff. The truck looks sharp my friend. I've got the same truck on deck (along with others). Love that wheel/tire combo. Did you do any slicin' & dicin" on the hood? Mine was so ill-fitting, it needed a lot of work to get it to look like yours. Killer job so far.

Thanks everyone!Ben, the Tamiya color code is TS-2. Larry, the multi-piece hood was a bit of a pain, but mostly it was/is the fact that the cab/frontclip are twisted until mounted on the chassis. I did spend some time to get it right, also the front grille surround doesn't fit all that well either, still have a bit more massaging to go there before it gets green ;D If you look closely at the box-art for the current '65 stepside, you can see how crappy this front panel fits

Great looking project Jeff. Nice work on the hood, I can still remember the headaches I got from it while building mine. Keep us updated.....

Thanks Tony, Darrin, and Matt! Got the green on it, and temporarily assembled it to take it to the IPMS show yesterday "for display only". Here's how it looks in my photo booth, still raining out, can't get any pics outside yet Almost finished:
