Looks GREAT Matt!!! Very nice detailing... This is the car you started when we first "met" on MCM awhile ago! Loosely based on your 1:1, right? Good luck in the show!

yeah its the same one jeff. the black didnt turn out good and i burned through the paint buffing it. after putting it back in the box and getting it back out many times, i finally chose a color and finished it.

I would say the final color choice is a winner! I've always liked Oldsmobiles, and this one is a very clean build! A turbocharged 455?! You'll need those big disk brakes you added

the pictures dont do the color justice. i just couldnt get the light right. its a little heavy on the metal flake, but i really like it. i did have a 1:1 '71 vitsa cruiser with a 455 that i planned on doing in this color sceme. it had a kind of orangy-brown colored interior so this color would have been perfect. heres a picture of it.
