Originally, it was a Tootsietoy and from what info I can find, it's somewhere between 1/25 and 1/32 in scale. When I got it, it was missing one set of wheels. A fellow modeller in our club resin cast me some extras. here is the finished product: I only made a few modifications to it: Resin wheels Headlights &; buckets (Revell 2k6 Mustang) Taillights (parts box item) gas cap (parts box item) control sticks (old piston top gearshift levers & straight pins I covered the bottom where the axles 'snap' into place added 'textured' padding to bottom of the floor & seating area Other than the Artic camo paint, it's pretty much as it came umpteen years ago as a toy. Oh, I have about 4-5 hours in this; most of which were watching the paint dry.

Oddball subject Mike...but I like it! ;D Used to see these things runnin' around in the seventies...never got a ride in one though That would look great in the back of a cool 4x4 pickup!

Really fun!! I have never seen one of these. Turned out neat. Gets me thinking, maybe we should have a section on the website that we can post converted toys. I have seen many cool Matchbox cars.
Does anyone remember watching a "cartoon" in the 70's where 4 guys would drive around in one of these things? For the life of I can't remember the name of the show. One of those HR Puffinstuff type shows.
