I need to remove the paint of my 4Runner build. It's all messed up, so I want a clean slate to start with. What seems to work for you guys to get the paint off?
Thanks

It depends on the type of paint. two things that I use depending on the paint are brake fluid and Castrol Super Clean/ Purple Power. Use the cheapest brake fluid you can get. This seems to work on enamel. Soak for a few hours them scrub with an old toothbrush and wash with warm water. Good luck.

Thanks Soak it in Simple Green overnight. Then, while running it under warm water, use an old toothbrush and scrub. It works for me. You didn't mention how old the paint was and only used this method on paint jobs that I've screwed up and had to redo. You can always give it a try. It's cheaper and safer then brake fluid.
