Hello everyone. just joined, love it so far. im about to start my second build. my first was a 70 challenger. my next build is a 77 gmc pickup with a snow plow(wont be using the plow). i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions because i would like to lift it ect. would love to get some good advice since its my first lift build. thanks!

Welcome *****!!! (insert first name here) Hope you enjoy your time on the best site for offroad models! I would recommend the easiest route for the GMC...a spring-over-axle, just like in 1:1. If you are looking for a very slight lift, you could get away with shackles, but if they get too long they start looking gaudy Bigger tires may even get you the lift you want, it all depends on what you're after. Show us your progress!

Hello fish welcome to the board you'll find that we are all ready to help out with advise and such i havent been here for a while but i have checked in and Jeff and Big Ed are two of the ones to go to for advise also there are a bunch of very talented builders here i hope i can help out soon and take Jeffs advise on the lift that would be the easiest way to go Willie
