I have really busy with my non-modeling life lately and have not been able to visit for about a week. When I did come back I was surfing through the current projects and noticed something... almost every vehicle has a large portion of it that has been scratch built. Got me thinking, I can think of only one site that has anywhere near this amount of craftsmanship on it, and I frequent five or six sites.
Is anyone else amazed by how good the people are here too? John

I know that I am amazed at every project I look at on here. I have never really done any scratch building until know, and I study the pics everyone puts up. It blows me away some of the stuff that is built by hand. My hats off to all of you on here for the work, time, and craftsmanship that you put into your projects. I hope that one day I will be where you are at now. Thanks for everything and keep posting pics, I need more to study......lol Gary

Hey John. I did realize that "coopdad" was missin' for a few days. And yes, I've seen some new scratchbuildin' here and I am impressed. Gary, I was amazed when I joined DRM a while ago and witnessed some k1cka$$ fabrication there. I got hooked. And so will a lot of you guys. And don't be discouraged if the first part you try to make didn't come out as you had hoped. It will eventually. I can't tell you how many times it would take me to make one insignificant little part to the point where I was happy with it. It is rewarding though. And you couldn't be among a better group of builders always ready to help. So study, build...study, build......................

I've gotta say, the people on this forum are great. I know that it is small for now, it will grow, but right now it's like a small town where everybody knows your name (CHEERS!) I hope that this part of the forum stays the same as it grows!
Thanks everyone!
