Best Of Luck! I always loved that show when I lived in radford. Tom Allison and Dennis Smith are old frineds of mine. Tell them I said HI! This is quite a long running show. Tom has works very hard for around 20 years doing this great model show. There were always great models on those tables. I wish I was there. Matt

Hey guys i'm back from the show it was a good turn out other than the entries i had there were only about three other off-road builds and that incldes two awesome tractor pullers and Matt if i had seen this before i left for the show i would have been more than happy to tell them hi for ya and they did put on a very good show and contest. Well how did i do. i had three entered in the truck non-commercial class and the Bronco WON!!!! its class i was blown away i thought for sure with the street rod trucks that were there i wouldn't even place. Ok this leaves the other two entries i had i ha two entered in the "Other Competiton" hese were rock crawlers i built and i took second in that class was very happy with the results here is a couple of pics of my two that placed Thanks for the good luck wishes and all Willie

Congrats Willie! I was looking at the photos from the show on your site... very nice work there. Many very unique builds. Not the "same old, same old". John

Congrats! Those models are BEAUTIFUL!!! I can see why they won. It was the early 90s for me when I was last in Roanoke. I use to love to "Roll Down The Hill" from Radford just about every weekend and stop buy ol Ronnie at the "Crossroads" hobby shop in Salem. Love that place. Dennis, Tom and I had started a model car club that met there once a month for a year or so. We always had such a good time together back then. I do miss it very much and one day I will return. There is NO WAY I am going to live out the rest of my life in this DUST BOWL we call the Southwest. I hate it here. The South EAST is the place to be. I won a few awards at that show, but MAN they have come up quite a bit over the years. Nice awards! That show should get more notice then it does. It is a long standing show that has always been a good one. Glad you did so well. Good job BUDDY! Matt

Willie, I'm proud of ya. You deserved the wins my friend. And you brought just a little more attention to the small 4x4 builder community. Congrats bud.
