I'm currently building a replica of my father snow plow using the Revell Trucks serie '97 Ford 150 XLT as a base, the snow plow from the Revell Trucks series '77 GMC Pickup (the snow plow being identical to my father's one!!) To my deception, the F150 is 2wd as my father's one is 4wd. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Lindberg front frame section can be used to swap on the Revell's one without the need to completely scratch building it?

I have ordered the Lindberg one, I'll see how easy it is to swap the front section. Both are 1/25 scale.

It would take a little work, but it is doable. I'm not sure the Dencon piece is still available- last I heard their site was still up, but he wasn't doing any more casting.

I was going to scratch build it, but didnt find any good photo and the Lindberg route is gonna be easier. There is already a ton of detail that need to be adressed, it'll save me that.
