Ahhh, those awful chrome headlights. Many kits have them and they are very difficult to make look real After trying many things (thick Elmer's glue, paint) on my son's Bronco grill I finally gave up and used real headlights. I printed out real ones on thick paper and glued them into the sockets. Here is the pdf of the file I made: www.magazinepublisher.com/models/headlights.pdfIt contains many rectangle headlights, a couple turn signals and some round "fog lights" Keep in mind, the pdf is HUGE (25mb) so it will take a while to download... give it time before thinking the link is broken. Also, be sure to print at 100% or full size and not let the printer enlarge or reduce to fit the page. The lights are a little larger than the headlight bucket so there is room to adjust. Hope it helps! John

Hey John. I like the idea too. So you just printed the lights on plain old white paper?

Actually I printed them as a decal on white decal paper... but when I tried apply them, they did not look right conforming to the texture of the light. So, I grabbed one of the other printouts still on the paper and used it.
I believe it would work best if printed on photo paper or coated paper, something better than regular "typing" paper. That way the details in the photo would show up and not look like a gray rectangle. John
