This is an old carnation truck I intend on turning into a trail rig. so far I have widened the body and added the grille which is a 63 or 64 ford grille upside down but I think it works. I'll have to scratch the chassis ,interior and exo skeleton but that's why this hasn't progressed much .that is all for now.

thanks for the encouragement ,I have had this one on the back burner for awhile.figuring out the front grille just kind of pushed it to the forefront so we'll see what happens. I have a sketch that I'm using and if I can stick to the sketch and not get to crazy it will see completion. ;D

I have begun the chassis right now a simple ladder frame. I plan on using rockwells from the mpc monster truck kits and a link set up. at this point I can't tell if I need to add disc brakes or if they are hidden with wheels on. oh and I also opened up the wheel wells a little more. Thanks for your interest.photos to follow eventually.

I am aware these don't come with disc brakes however they can be upgraded to disc brakes for on road use as the pinion disc brake set up doesn't work well at higher speeds that are generated on road versus the slower speeds of the trail.

So I got some heat shrink and some old airplane landing gear I found a couple of matching sets shoved two of the wheels into a short piece of the shrink shrunk it.( be careful if using plastic wheels ) and I have some air bags I just need to add some bracketry and a fitting or two but I was happy with how these turned out the blob in the fore ground is the one that got away too much heat. another side shot with my intended wheel tire selection.
