Since finding a right tires for off road vehicles is such a challenge, i have built a database of all the tires my friend and myself have found. There are old kit tires, new cast tires, and tires found on diecast/toys. Hope it helps! www.magazinepublisher.com/models/tires/tires.html

I have some different "Dueler" tires from Satco that i will have to measure and get to you. I also have some tires I have bought from the Modelhaus that might be of interest to folks here.
I am busy all week so it would be next weekend before I can get out the calipers and get the sizes.

I ordered some tires from Trevorstoybox on ebay. Great looking tires, super swampers mounted on stone crusher rims and they stand about 2" tall.

I have a set of 1/20 scale goodyear wranglers from a Fujimi FJ40. I'm going to get pics tomorrow. I'm wondering if someone would want to cast them...

here is the 1/20th scale tire I was referring to: Goodyear Wrangler R/T 'Terra-tire' (i have actual measurments taken with a dial caliper, but i have misplaced them) here is that same tire / wheel combo next to the TSL: I also have this smaller 31"(ish) tire: & next to the TSL: Sebastian @ scale auto style has offered to cast the terra-tire. I was wondering if I should also contact Ma's resins & see if they wanted to cast some up for use guys here that are "stateside". Would any of you be interested in a tire slightly wider & about the same height as the TSL?

I like the looks of the Goodyear Mike! Probably requires a giant wheel though since it's 1/20 scale, huh? We've got some pretty good choices out there now with So Reals & what the casters have been repopping, but most have too large a wheel opening. Could an insert be installed in a master & then reproduced to look like a factory tire, who knows until someone tries!

That wheel that is in the goodyear is what came in the FJ40 kit this was sourced from. it isn't much bigger (FRACTION of a MM) than the wheel shown in the TSL. I agree that a little bit smaller wheel would look right @ home in those, but i also really like those 5-star whatevers that they are on now. & IIRC from my measurements, I think the wheel opening is right at or just over 19mm (when i find the measurements i took, I'll post them) which, in either scale (1/24 - 1/25) isn't terribly big, IMO.

Hey Mike: Yes, I'd be interested in casting both of those tires & the 5 star wheel. Let me know if you want to send them. Thanks! ;D

Gang, I have added a bunch new photos to the tire site, mostly of Alan's new castings.
Also, I have started including a photo of the tires "mounted" under a Scout model (we all have a Scout kit right?). Should help you get the idea how big a tire looks under a vehicle... sometimes knowing the size is not enough. Hope it helps, John

anyone know where i might find 1/25 scale 17 inch tires like these, the real tires come out to 31 inches tall i believe. It would go on an amt 97 f150 extended cab short bed to replicate my new truck which had the stock 16 inch tires and wheels but i swapped the 17inch alloy wheels from my 2000 f150 with these tires on em. i would be steeling the wheels from the revell 97 f150 stepside kit.
