Since I am just so bored (yea right) I thought I would build another page, like my tires page, listing parts we need for our builds. It is new so it is a little thin but it should grow quickly. Let me know if you have items, links, etc. that need to be on the site. The page can be accessed by link from the top of the tires page or here is the direct link. www.magazinepublisher.com/models/tires/accessories.htmlHope it helps! John

Great idea John. I'm new to 4x4 building and just joined this forum. I've seen you're tire database and it is so helpful. This is great for new guys like me for finding parts we need. Thanks you, stewart

Please add Calnaga Castings to your off road parts database. www.calnaga.com. We have a whole section for 4x4 parts including a Dana 44 front axle with open u-joint detail. We also offer transfer cases and transmissions. We also have high performance parts, engines, and a marine section that includes a 1:25 Berkeley jet drive for ski boats. Check it out! Thanks, Steve Perry

Regarding info on the tires in Revell's 1:15 Jeep CJ- they aren't really good for off road tires. They are simply Goodyear GT Radials with a street tread pattern. They can, however, be pressed into service as super singles or floatation tires on a 1:25 or 1:24 semi or heavy truck.

I think the later version(s?), at least one of which was reissued by Revell-AG, included the Goodyear GT Radials, but earlier versions included some period correct BFG All-Terrain T/A tires, which are very nice. I traded for a built-up and personally looked at the molded in brown Golden Hawk version, and verified the BFG tires are present. Not sure if the below version still includes the BFG tires, but my guess is they do, and only the Revell-AG box versions got the GY GT Radials: I will take and send some pics and measurements of the 1/16 Revell Jeep T/As for the database in the next month or so.

John, are you still updating the tire database? I can get some measurements of the Revell Jeep Rubicon and Hummer H2/Ford Raptor Snap kits tires to add to the list if so.

-I too have some tires that aren't in that listing! I'd be willing to help as well!
