Hey guys, I need someone to find some valve covers from a 1/24 V8 350 and take some measurements. I am looking for the length, width, and height of a standard valve cover. I am going to attempt to mill several sets of 350 valve covers out of 6160 aluminum . I am not sure if it will work but I want to try and give it a shot. I know you guys may not be interested in those pretty things on your trucks but I figured some of you could help me out with the dimensions. Thanks Jake

Jake, not to discourage or anything, but do you know about Bob Dudek's aluminum parts? public.fotki.com/BobDude/aluminum/But he doesn't make milled Atlas transfer cases ;D

LOL at Jeff. Maybe after I get my machine converted over to a CNC I can tackle the Atlas. It would be too complicated to try and run it manual. I am sure I could do it but time would kill me.
Thanks for the measurments Willie.
What are some other things you guys would like to see made from aluminum for your trucks?
Jake

I'll think of more ;D
