Excellent progress, especially for such a short time. Can't wait to see more. Call it "Kynan's Ravine"

WOW WOW WOW! Too much inspiration... you will have to tell us more! Like what did you use to make the wooden sides? I assume the grass was an old paint brush. What did you use for the green grass clumps? John

WOW WOW WOW! Too much inspiration... you will have to tell us more! Like what did you use to make the wooden sides? I assume the grass was an old paint brush. What did you use for the green grass clumps? John Hi all time for the last update as at this stage it's done I still have some little detailing things that I would like to add but I have to come across them in a shop some were in the right scale. John for the sides I used 3mm ply to box it in then I covered it in wooden drink stirrers stained with a cherry wood stain. I by the wooden drink stirrers rather the the hobby ones as the drink stirrers cost about $6.00 Aus for a Thousand which is heaps cheaper than the hobby ones. For the grass I use a mix of Fellow Deer Hair (used in fly tying) some Railway extra long field grass and some paint brushes bristles That come from the dollar shop. I find that they replicate the grasses that grow around here in the dry tropics, I live near the coastal edge of the so called Out Back. The green grass that I use I'm not shore on the name but it from a German railway company and come in a brown packet it's call wild grass long and is sort of a grass mix on a netting material and is about 20cm X 20cm in size. All you have to do is cut it out and stick it on and it can be stretched if you want to thin it out. I highly recommend this product as it gives the best results I have seen for grass if you don't have a grass static gun. I will try and find out the name for you. For the dried leaves and general leaf litter I use Tea leaves ( for the tea pot ) as they are a good scale size and look good and are quite often left out off dioramas but are everywhere in nature. I hope that helps you out if any one would like to know anything else please ask.
