Another one of my son's recent models. A Ford F1 pickup kit with wheels/tires he found in my spare parts box. He thought they looked cooler. And for added "realism" he found a spare tire and jeep motor for the bed. Man, I love the Tamiya paints... they are so forgiving, even for a 7 year old's abilities.

Really nice job on the F-1. I love that color green on it. Im just getting my 7yr old son into building. He just finished a 34 Ford Coupe(Snap Kit) did it all himself, except he had me spray the body with the color he picked out.

I think the big picture (kids building models) is more important than it not being a truck/4x4. I just lucked out that my son likes off roaders. John
