Hi All, As for power i think im going to stay with 4 cyclinder all stock. Im going full cage. The lift is spring over and thinking a little bodylift, I want it to be Army with a little more offroad style. I think this build i will use whats in the box. Im having a hard time finishing models because i want to modifie in every step! Anyone else that way? ? One more thing in the making of the model they want the frame in silver. All the other colors are army colors. Im thinking steel or gunmetal. Im asking you guys for any advice on this build...Please.... Thank you Johnny

That's why I can't get anything finished...I can't build one "box-stock"!!! I'm doing the frame on my Italeri MB in black...I think all frames/chassis' should be black, unless it's a "show" vehicle, but just my opinion...

Hey johnny. Same here....I can leave absolutely nothing alone. Don't like this...modify it. Don't like that...modify it too. I like being a stickler, but it's also a drawback. If I told you what the hang-up was with the Dodge, you'd laugh me right out of ORM. Oh well, I love the Jeep so far.

Hi All, I have a room full of started models i lost count after 60.I have about 130 total.I maybe have 8to12 that are finished. But i also have real things out in the shopthe count on that goes 1950 willys cj3a undesided, My 49 willys build, 77cj5 build, 64 chevy 4x4stepside, and im doing a frame up ,total rebuild and bodywork, paint and interior and wood bed on my Daughter-in-laws 69 Chevy 4x4 shortbed on 37 swampers.I learned from doing models that i can build bumper and cages and then do it on real rigs. Sorry for the long reply Johnny

same for me I can not buld anything box stock and that is a bad thing I had to move and all my parts and models are in storage a 100 miles away. i got two at a thrift shop and can not build them because i keep saying oh I think it needs a big motor not this or that could be better if i had this from my parts box.
For the frame I say black or some color close to military no shiny dont want to have it look wrong i think the real frames were black if i am right.
What kit is that I like it and would like to get one

Hi All,The work on the Willys is slow , I did start on the rear axle housing, leaf springs, and front axle housing. Power is a ?? 4 or 8 ? Then do i do oraginal 4 or Mopar, Chevy ,Ford. I been working out in jeep shop on my real jeeps and trucks, and building log beds in my wood shop. Wish there was 48 hrs in a day
