heres a wip of my 78 little red painted it gun metal because i ran out of color options for this one picked up the conversion kit from decon resin couldnt leave it stock height so had to give her a little lift

NIce lookin... although you should look into splitting the blocks with a shackle lift up front. the big blocks look kinda unsteady...

Hey Ben. I agree on the block thing. But it's definitely got the look. Height is cool and the paint color is slick.

ive made those before and they are a pain to put together unless someone has some ideas on how to scratch build them

I built this ford by spacing the springs with "shackles" made from kit sprue. This is simple and looks better than one massive lift block

Hey again Ben. I use styrene strip for shackles. I figure how long (within reason) to make 'em, cut to size and drill matching holes in each end. Hope this helps.

well big ed looks like your the master when it comes to scratchbuilding ive made springs and shackles before but the shackles are a pain in the butt to make ive got to get some evergreen supplies money is kind of tight right now been out of work since december have some nerve damage had surgery twice to try and fix it but no luck

I'm no expert in this area and haven't done it, but I think the best way to do it is with a combination of re-arched springs, extended shackles and relocated spring mounts. Basically you want to mimic the way it is done 1:1. Also, don't forget a possible body lift.
No doubt about it, you have to have some scratchbuilding skills to pull it off so it looks right.
