We've got 8 voters so far, I guess that's enough for a CBP.
Can we get ten builders? ;D

I voted for a Ford build, because I'm a Ford guy. But I would be happy to do a Jeep too. My only concern would be the dates of the build and if I had other things going on. I'd sure try and do it though. The more lead time we are given on the dates the better.

It doesn't matter to me WHAT we build, I just think it'd be cool to all build the SAME kit, to see everyone's personal twist on it.
NOT a requirement though... ;D

I like the idea, but the four day time limit is going to leave me out of this one. I'll be watching to see how this one does.

I know it may sound ridiculous but the point really is to just get people to work on something in common and share the journey. finishing is not a requirement . It is just the goal. Sometimes the fun is when everybody has the same problems . if you don't get done no problem hopefully though it motivates the builder to continue on and finsh and post up a finished model, which for a serial project starter and non-finisher is good practice and a step towards changing the non finishing aspect. It truly is more fun than it sounds especially if you think it sounds fun to begin with.

I worked on my Audi build for 21 of the 24 hrs and didn't finish BY CHOICE. The paint turned out so well, I couldn't bring myself to glue the last detail bits to the body without polishing it first! I think once in awhile you have to put yourself under a deadline in order to get something accomplished, especially when you are a non-finisher like myself

Ok so the poll is over and clearly everyone wants to build a scout! just kidding the jeep came out on top so if everyone has one let's do this.I would like to do this either this upcoming weekend or the next .I know next weekend is short notice however we can fix that for the next one if this works out. all you have to do is find a jeep and build it and post progress (or problems) pics within the begining of friday thru the ending of monday time period any jeep or jeep derived off roader is cool. So sound off on whether we start this weekend 3/2-3/5 or the next 3/9-3/12.

We'll see how things play out for everyone else...

I flat out can't do it the following weekend (10/11) as I have an all-day snowmobile association meeting on Saturday and planned ride on Sunday. I could maybe squeak one this next weekend (3/4) around my daughter's basketball games and birthday party. I'd really rather see the weekend of 17/18 though.
(But hey, either it works or it doesn't, right?!)
