is this any jeep or just the cj. The reason I am asking is because i have a J10 that I built a long time ago and I have tore it apart and need to rebuild it. I would possibly be in on any weekend that it would be.

As far as which weekend I didn't want to go out three weeks. the sooner the better after this one we will totally give sufficient notice.

I would possibly be in on any weekend that it would be. absolutely any jeep product I would also accept jeeps by ford ,bantam, willys or anyone else that produced the jeep during WW II.again any type of jeep even the ones that were converted for farm use.

OK I think I have developed a plan lets do weekend build PART 1 and PART 2 .PART 1 starts this weekend and PART 2 starts the following weekend . just call out which one you are doing and lets go from there . remember this is just to get some models done and posted on the forum so all the guests that stop by daily have something new to look at . and maybe we all get some new found motivation .Above all this is supposed to be fun .

It doesn't look like anyone is chiming in about starting after midnite tonite (except for you!). I really want to see an ORM CBP, but maybe this is just too short of notice? Don't be discouraged by this though...please post progress of your build for us to see, we'll cheer you on, and we'll get one organized in the future yet! Maybe we can also rethink the time limit, life gets in the way for most of us, more time is always good. I'd still like to see us all build the SAME kit, just to compare ideas on the same "blank canvas" ;D

I figured this weekend was too short of notice,I do hope more will join next weekend . meanwhile I will give it a shot and see what happens. I have it narrowed down to two kits . I will post my decision in 2 hours.

Whoa! That safari Jeepster is beyond cool! I'm really looking forward to seeing this started in your talented hands! Kila la kheri (Swahili for good luck)! I had considered (however briefly) jumping in on this challenge, but I'm recovering from a wicked bout of bronchitis, and I have a lot of catching up to do after being out for a week But I'm really looking forward to seeing the builds of those with lots more gumption than I can muster at the moment. I'm sure I will be inspired enough to finally start a build of my own!

Those are cool, i can be in the next one, this weekend is realy bad, by the way, is it just a build from friday to sunday, or is it a week. technically it is supposed to be friday to monday , but mostly just try to finish it and hopefully it carries you through to finishing shortly there after. it is intended to be fun ,no pressure . it seemed with this one we had interest but not very well planned on my part so this week end or next weekend just to see if you guys like it if you do we can do it properly next time with a few weeks notice so people can decide what to build and get everything together.I really hope if you can't this weekend give it a try next weekend. It is a good way to get more builds on this forum. Blue edge I don't know your first name. Thank you for not leaving me hangin' . the J 10 looks sweet. Kifaru if you can give it a shot next weekend. And please don't be disappointed but i won't be using many of the safari parts on this particular build I'm gonna use them on a project to be named later. Jeff I think a common kit build would be fun let's do that without a time limit,It'll be fun. as for the the weekend builds I know the more people try it, the more people will love it and we will end up with several regular participants.

Cool choice in the Jeepster Randy, I love those! I like the looks of your J10 so far Josh, keep it going! I've got to work on my 1:1 transportation tomorrow, then a model show on Sunday morning with work (OT to pay for what I buy at the show ) afterwards. I'm hoping to get a good deal on the newly reissued GMC wrecker, then use an extra J10 cab to build a 1-ton 4X4 Jeep wrecker. If I get one Sunday, I'll start my build during the week and see how far I get. Some plans have changed & I'll be going out of town next weekend, so that's out for me then.
