Hi Guys, Quick Update on the new Beadlocks/Wheel Covers. I just got the invoice in the mail yesterday evening. This usually precedes the shipment of the actual plates by a few days.. That means the covers will be here sometime this week. The first run will be pre-chromed. These run a little more then the raw ones due to the plating process. My next plate will be raw brass, and will have another selection to choose from.
For those wanting a dull look to their beadlocks (rather then shiny chrome), they are easily painted, or Dullcote is a fantastic spray to dull anything down.. With Dullcote, the beadlocks will look more like a flat aluminum.
I'll have them photographed and up on the site as soon as I can after they arrive.

Today I receive my set of TLS bogger tires from B.N.L resin and I have to say that they are very good caster, the details on the tires are awesome, the tires come in hard resin, and black colored. I'm sorry no to post any picture by now, but I have problems whit my camera. I will buy more stuff from this guy.

I had a guy email off Ebay asking if my wheel rings fit a Losi 1:24th crawler. I doubt they do, but it did get me thinking. I ordered a set of tires and wheels for that truck, and i think i'll make some rings to fit it out of nickel or stainless (so they will be durable). It looks like the covers screw to the wheel itself, so it should work fine in an r/c environment. We'll see what happens!

Hey Everyone, I just joined a little bit ago to help with a kit I'm developing. I've seen some great build and talent here. I have received some info I needed as well. There is always a very small niche in every hobby, and everyone is passionate about that niche with good reason, you want to build the best model you can. I'm a modelmaker/sculptor and have been doing so for a living since '96. Of course business is way down due to the over-seas competition and the SLA or, grown parts tech. boom. I am always looking for new ideas for possible item to create for people with the goal to offer them as items for sale. I have read a lot of good suggestions here and none are above my abilities to master, even the long beds & bodies. The best way to handle this is to create a master list in this thread of all of the parts requested with other than just one or two persons interested in that part. The list could be set up for people to add a yes vote to. Perhaps a series of PM's that a mod could volunteer to track and post when finished as a poll. I dunno. ( I would also need help with images and dimensions of specific parts) The issue is, as we all know, cost. Time to make the master, time & materials to mold & cast parts. And would people be ready to pay for a per order? That is the safest way for someone in my position to start a project. I'm willing to start off with a simple project, like the 4x4 axles. A couple to offer at once would be great. They could fit in one mold and be cast at the same time, a cost saver. You can go to my site, look round and go to the store page to view my kits for sale. Its all Sci-Fi, but as model is a model. Sorry for such a loooong post, but I am interested in assisting in these needs. If some one wishes to Pm me I can supply some references about my work and reliability off thread to save eyesight. Regards, Scott

So what ever happened with any of these ideas? I would love to find some tractor tires myself like the tires in my avatar.

B-N-L Resins makes skinny tractor tires, Brandon, though I'm not sure they are the exact same size: bnlresins.ipage.com/shoppingopencart/I have seen many Ertl die-cast tractors with very similar tires, too, so scour eBay, the toy section at your local department or Tractor Supply store.
